He's also rather big- not as large as Sirex is, but taller than the average dragon.
Abilities: Normal HiveWing abilities. Has a wrist stinger with paralyzing venom, which normally only has a notable effect on dragons smaller than him- which many are.

Dauber likes to fight people. ALL THE PEOPLE. He will take any possible excuse to fight people, and not for violence- he just finds sparring fun. It's his own way of relaxing himself, which shows something important about Dauber: what he finds normal may not be normal to others. He takes some getting used to, with his loud persona and direct way of speaking, almost as if he's always demanding something of you or challenging you in some manner. He's not, you just need to get used to that.
He often doesn't know how to convey feelings. If he likes you? Fight him! If he hates you? ...Probably also fight him. It's his demeanor during this that really shows what he thinks about you, and how often he bares his teeth at your face. He tends not to think before he acts, but luckily for him so far he hasn't challenged anybody to a fight he cannot lose.
Dauber, back in his history, has been through some stuff and sometimes is rather guarded if you get too close to his real internal feelings.
History:
Dauber comes from a long line of Vinegaroon Hive casino owners, used first for both tribes to spend some money, and then under Vinegaroon that changed to only SilkWings. It was during this time that due to the loss of some customers his parents ended up in some monetary troubles, messing with the cards a bit to try to gain some of that old coin back. Once dragons caught on, however, fights broke out. When Dauber was only 20, an angered group broke in, stealing money and killing the majority of his family apart from him and a younger sibling. He's the young owner of a family business that's ended up almost broke.
Sure, he joined with Sirex to pay off debts and bring his business back to what it used to be, but he doesn't actually mind the guy. He joined the group soon after that incident and the later rebellion, easily besting the other few dragons during that early time- although he never actually could beat Pieris in claw-to-claw combat. (He feels terrible about this, and even thought about challenging Leiurus, but decided not to since Pieris couldn't beat him either!)
He feels as if his life started once his family was killed like that, and that was when his eyes really opened to what was going on despite the seemingly wealthy life they had given him. He absolutely hates talking about it, and pretends he has forgiven the dragon who did the deed, although in truth he has a strong hatred for them. If he could go after them, he would.
But for the time being, he's fine where he is.
