Personality:
{briefly; talkative, somewhat violent, just a weird guy}
Detailed personality here; Feldspar's talkative and very attached to people he likes. Thinking things through? No, what's that? Feldspar's a bit of a mess despite how well he still manages to do his job. When talking to other dragons, one of the first things he does- often in the first sentence he speaks- is to declare that his name is Feldspar. Often he'll forget if he already told them that his name was Feldspar, so he tells them again that he's Feldspar, and this goes on for a while. Heck, sometimes he tells his own brother his name is Feldspar. He's normally not easily distracted- and actually has a pretty good memory... except when it comes to "did I tell them my name yet?"
Feldspar also has a slightly weird way of speaking- sometimes he overaccentuates a few letters. Sometimes he speaks pretty fast. But he's friendly, and will repeat basically anything you want him to- as long as you don't ask him too many times.
Terrible at explaining what he's up to in any detail except for "I'm Feldspar and I'm sending out the silk!".
Loves his family very much, despite the fact that he only has one twin brother and literally nobody else. But he loves him. Very, very much. He will kill for them!
History:
Feldspar never really knew his family. The little that he recalled of the SilkWings that had raised him- even for a short time- was that they were scarred and scratched up in a manner that even his small body understood wasn't normal. He barely remembered them apart from that, not their names or their faces- and he doubted he would be able to recognize them if he saw them again. Feldspar is greatly interested in the ways of the Hive from a young age, and spends a lot of his time looking at tapestries and talking to dragons he meets along the way.
Feldspar has a twin brother. Indris was born in the same egg as him at the exact same time- although Feldspar still sees himself as the younger one. He's greatly attached to the grey SilkWing to an immense degree, spending most of his time alongside his only remaining family member. And Indris never seemed to mind, being rather sweet towards him. They're close enough that when it comes time to go to school and eventually find a job, they go the same way.
Indris gets sick for a while- very very sick. Feldspar has no clue what to do about his sickness. The healers can't do anything- this is random chance, bad random chance. This isn't mean to happen, and Feldspar wishes that it had never happened, as most likely he wouldn't have Indris for much longer.
And then, mysteriously, Indris recovers- and recovers strangely. He points out more things about the world. He knows more, realizes more- knows what dragons not to talk to and who to speak to. He picks up on how the merchants Feldspar knew since he was young are now simpler, weaker, not the same people. Feldspar is concerned, but Indris is right. Something is greatly wrong. The way the world works is different, and he's terrified of it.
And then Indris disappears. Nobody knows where he is. Nobody has seen him- and after a month, nobody even knows about him. To them, Feldspar's been working alone for ages, that he came from a single egg, that they were wondering why he was always alone. Feldspar was never alone. Feldspar knows Indris existed. Feldspar wants him back more than anything.
He is still willing to kill for Indris. He's willing to break things for Indris.
Maybe he's even willing to cross realities.
