"I'm just a guy who stays around here." he said with a shrug of his shoulders, relaxing his body language a bit. Was she really in such a hurry that she couldn't wait to get out of there? Whatever she wanted the Night Kingdom for, it could wait until nightfall, when dragons would be actually awake. Why would anybody have to be in such a hurry?
"You're not stressed for time, are you? What dragon can't spend some time speaking to a friendly tribemate?" they said, the sides of their jaws curling up into a slight smile. "At least, I do hope I'm not making you late!" He already knew they weren't going anywhere in a time limit. Did anybody even know they left?
Ha, if only that were true. Dawnflight was late for nearly everything and didn't see the harm in things staying that way. Less stress, and stress, she was very prone to. No, Dawnflight wanted to get to the NightWing Kingdom before nightfall. Her parents would be asleep till then, unaware of her absence. The dragonet yawned again, parting her dark grey jaws to show two small fangs. He raised a scaly eyebrow. "Very early, it seems." he said, tail tapping across the ground. Maybe he would find a way to ask if anybody knew they had headed out... they seemed friendly enough, but without venom they couldn't take his eye, and it would be nice to have a hybrid skull around... but no, he would hold off on that for now. Maybe later.
"So early that nobody's awake except the ones like you and me. Who knows- maybe somebody's trying to run to the rainforest just as you're trying to run to the kingdom?" they said with a tilt of their head. Noting the fangs in the dragonet's jaws, he noticed that they were definitely longer than his own.

The hybrid shifted her starry wings and glared up at Foresight, very much annoyed. All she wanted was to get to the NightWing kingdom, and be real NightWing, not some lazy annoying vegetarian that laid around all day in the stupid sun.. 66 words, 402 words total |

I heard the dragons still in the rainforest...are a bit different than us in the kingdom." He said this with as much politeness as he could, trying to keep up his friendly facade. He walked around a bit, moving around her a small amount- not enough to seem as if he was circling her or cutting her off. Just a little bit, as if his claws were a tad restless and he wanted to do something with them.
