Detailed personality here; Carmine was champion back when the arena was used- she didn't have firescales or anything of the sort, just an average dragon with the power and drive to fight as well as she could. She's heavily built and values strength- her first thought for a lot of situations is "why don't we just claw at it?" She's not a violent dragon, and won't hurt somebody that doesn't do anything to her. But due to her time in the arena her mind is based on fighting, and isn't sure what else to do. She is rather smart and willing to come up with other ways to do things, and she is educated and able to read scrolls and whatnot (She does want to learn a bit of scavenger language, but she doesn't entirely see the use in it.) When talking to other dragons she always has a bit of trouble with not being awkward around them.
History: She was young when she showed prowess in fighting- the queen at the time saw some potential in her, and decided to train her under the existing champion at the time. She was only a dragonet when the other champion died in the arena- and so since she was the one dragon working under the old champion, she was the one tasked to fight. Taking out the other dragon rapidly (they weren't the most fit of prisoners) she was considered the next champion- and things only went further from there.
