Sparrow is fascinated with science and learning how things work. He keeps several journals of notes about dragons and their behavior. He is very antisocial, and treats Apple as though it were something to study instead of something capable of thoughts and emotions.
History:
He was a dragonmancer's apprentice, and was sent to steal treasure from the Skywing kingdom. When he saw that dragon society worked very similarly to human society he was fascinated. He decided to abandon life in Valor and to study dragon behavior instead. He found Apple's egg in a clutch of five eggs, and stole it so he could study a dragon that wouldn't try to kill him when he got too close. He then raised Apple.
