ARANEID
"Danger"

Appearance: {A bronze Hivewing with a scarred back and no wings}
The character's appearance;
Most of Araneid's scales are a dark bronze, which lighten near her undersides, with black spines on her back. Her eyes are a bright yellow, but what stands out to most others are the scars on her chest and back, especially the ones where her wings would've been. In public Araneid often wears cloaks to cover them, just to avoid stares.

To most Araneid looks like a perfectly normal dragon, other than her rather... dark humor. She generally appears rather friendly and cheerful, until you're not acting the way she wants to anymore. Especially to other tribes, Araneid can act rather cold and cruel. She doesn't particularly care about the lives of others and is not afraid to harm them to get her way. Messing with her is dangerous, and few who have are still alive. There are days as well where she is in a bad mood and would attack someone for no real reason either.
It is difficult for her to trust others, especially since she is not entirely familiar with Pyrrhian tribes. She often pretends to be an Skywing around strangers, and is cautious not to reveal her true identity to those she doesn't think need to know it.
History:
Araneid did not exactly hatch in the most safe of homes. Her wings were unusually small and deformed, and her parents, who already has a strained relationship, suspected her of being part Silkwing, and her egg possibly being swapped.
She had no other siblings or friends as a dragonet, but as she got older Araneid began to show an interest in her mother's work as a doctor. Of course, as a fairly high-ranked Hivewing, Araneid's mother couldn't exactly have her daughter just running around after her, as it would make everyone think she had an egg with a Silkwing.
So when Araneid was around 5 years old, her mother cut her wings off.
After that Araneid was allowed to study and work with her mother to become a doctor like her. She quickly got very good, but had issues with morals. One thing many of her teachers had to remind her was that Silkwings were also dragons and should not just be cut open to study their insides.

Eventually her mother died in an accident, and Araneid took her place. She quickly became well-known because of her skill, especially in finding cures to diseases unusually quickly, until she suddenly disappeared. No one in the Hives had any idea where she went, and many thought she died.
Of course, she wasn't dead, but somehow ended up on Pyrrhia. While she is not exactly sure how- her memory of that time is fuzzy- Araneid adapted fairly quickly to this new world. She's been there for a few years now, and usually stays in Posibility, although she tends to travel around to avoid too much unwanted attention.
