The 

Nutria looks pretty much the typical MudWing. Their scales are brown, though they do lean towards a grayish/cool undertone rather than a warm one. They have two or three small scars, and golden eyes. They’re stick-thin and tall, always have been and probably will always be, and are very sharp and pointy as far as MudWings go. Three of their talons on the left side are a bit wonky from an accident when they were younger.

Personality:

Nutria is a quiet dragon. They survey the world around them with a gentle eye, slightly judgemental. They genuinely care about dragon life and have a strict sense of morals. They’re very sarcastic and stoic, not too expressive.
Nutria is very stuck in the past. They don’t like change, not one bit, and even moving rooms once they’ve settled in makes them uncomfortable. They’re also quite stubborn, and once they take an actual stance on the matter it’s not going to ever change. Ever. They deeply love their siblings, even if they don’t agree with all of them.
Nutria can come across as EXTREMELY judgemental. They’re flat as can be, and though they aren’t actually trying to upset dragons, they’re not saying anything nicely. They’re also a bit more judgmental to other tribes, finding them weird as heck.




History:

Nutria was born seven years ago along with their sib group, the second born out of a pack of somewhat unruly dragons. Their bigwings, Beaver, Nutria, Porcupine (who acquired the unfortunate name of Porky-), Capybara, and Loom were all in it together when they were young. They spent all of their young life with their sibs, adopting a leader role within the troupe. Unlike their sibs, Nutria was born serious, and they spent a lot of time sitting quietly next to Capybara as she read (and tell her that no, they didn’t know what a mango was) and keeping a watchful eye over everyone.
They were only 2 when the war ended. When Capybara decided to leave, Nutria accepted her decision, but that didn’t mean they liked it. On the day that their younger sib left, Nutria refused to talk.
When Capybara returned refusing to talk about what happened, Nutria accepted this with a small nod and shrug.
For the first time, they left home to go to Jade Mountain Academy, because..well, they wanted to get to know their sibling again.
