Atolla liked the sea fine. It, on its own had none nothing wrong to the sanguine dragon. It was a comfort, really, to hear the waves, smell the salt in the air, and feel the waves at its feet as Atolla walked along the coastline, quite a bit less hostile-seeming than usual. It'd be no issue, really, for it to head off- there were better things to do than reminisce on the past- but still, something in the SeaWing hybrid dragon longed to stay just a bit longer, and for once it decided to indulge these feelings. Atolla knew itself to be somewhere near the island it hatched- could probably locate it, but the thought alone made the dragon's claws curl into the wet sand, leaving a noticeable mark as it walked. Plus, being seen would be admittedly, very bad. Especially by a SeaWing. Most particularly by its family- the word was spat in its mind with disgust, and Atolla's eyes narrowed as it thought back to them, leaving the red hybrid dragonet to the mercy of all who wished to torment it. But not anymore, Atolla thought with a look at the knife it had strapped to its leg. Now, I hold the power, instead of some elder who thinks they're above it all, or some Queen who's never seen more than her palace.[225 words]

GoldenwolfmidnaForesight came out of the sky, wings held up to the air- and a wide, almost feral smile on his face. Blood was splattered against his claws- deep and red, staining up to the lowest of his red scales. It was just some prey, but after dipping his claws in the stuff he did look a lot more intimidating. Of course, it also meant that he couldn't really talk to most dragons without them panicking. It was such a shame- such, such a shame. Dragons really shouldn't get panicky if they saw a NightWing covered in the stuff- it wasn't hurting them any, after all. The sight of Atolla caught his bright eyes- he couldn't miss those red scales. He had seen them before, as hybrids weren't easy to forget- they always had some sort of sign on them that marked them as a mix of more than one tribe. The SeaWing was no different. Their colors also reminded him of his own red markings- some had even thought he was part SkyWing (Hah!) because of the black-red markings across his body. Atolla wasn't a SkyWing, were they? He had to admit, he wasn't sure. He dipped out of the air, landing behind them- staining the sand below his claws red as the blood on his feet sank into it. He stood there, wings partially open, looking at the other dragon with a small huff.

BronzewingHearing the sound of wings snapping in and a soft thud on the ground, Atolla knew it'd been spotted. The question was whether or not it'd have to commit a murder to escape, if need be- this could easily be some non-SeaWing who was aware it was alive. Turning, the dark red dragon noted the NightWing build, red scales, and blood splattered on claws. Definitely not a SeaWing, it concluded quickly. From its wanderings, it thought it recognized the dragon- not by name, per se, but a NightWIng with bright red scales wasn't exactly inconspicuous. "Well." Atolla said, a bit uncertain of how to reply to this dragon landing next to it. He hadn't run screaming for the hills, which was a good start- having a knife tended to do that, as well as red scales. It wasn't sure why that was most dragon's first reaction, but that was neither here nor there. But maybe, that's because this dragon was more like it than others- one who, seemingly didn't take as much issue with using whatever means to get what they needed. "Why have you come here, NightWing?" It settled on after a moment's hesitation. "Often on these shores, you see only the thoughtless and foolish SeaWings." Atolla raised an eye-ridge in question, one talon absentmindedly digging into the sand. It wasn't like Atolla would complain about not having to murder a SeaWing guard- so noisy, and they often put up a struggle- but it wasn't by any means common to see a NightWing here, unless perhaps they were a merchant of some sort.

GoldenwolfmidnaHe folded his wings in, now knowing that Atolla wouldn't leap at him- of course, he had a weapon hidden in the dragon skull he held with him, and sharpened metal was affixed over his claws. This wasn't his first rodeo- not even close. Although they had turned around fast- at a good rate, actually. As if they were ready for him at any time. This was an interesting dragon- not just from their scales, but also how they acted. He also noticed the knife they held- neat. "Well hello there." he said with a small smile on his jaws, staying still and rather confident. "That's not a good way to greet a newcomer, is it?" Foresight laughed a bit, amused by the whole situation. What a strange way to greet somebody that just showed up! It was like they were ASKING to be stabbed in the neck once somebody got a bit too annoyed with them! He wouldn't be the one to do it...not yet, but they needed to be careful. "If you must know why I'm not a SeaWing, it was because I was born a NightWing, of course." he said, putting a claw on his chest. "But if you want to know why I'm here...well, I can take a walk, can't I?" He wouldn't give out much more than that until he felt comfortable doing so- and either way, Foresight was a dragon of many secrets. Sure, NightWings weren't around here, but did anybody really care? He didn't attack anybody!...yet.

BronzewingAtolla's eyes narrowed the smallest bit at the NightWing. His casual- even offhanded- comments felt like he was asking for someone to get annoyed with him, but the people like that tended to have the skills required to stay alive. Even as it thought this, the glint of metal on sun caught Atolla's eyes, drawing them to the metal carefully pulled over Foresight's claws. Giving a smile- the slightest bit of a deadpan in its eyes- Atolla spoke. "Of course, a walk is fine. I am by no means complaining, let me assure you. I'd much prefer a NightWing see me than a SeaWing. It's no secret they aren't quite... fond of me, shall we say." Its mind flicked back to the last SeaWing it encountered- a guard of some sort, who had tried to arrest them. Suffice to say, it had not gone well, and the hybrid dragon could only hope the corpse would be found long after it was gone. "Though, being armed while going on a simple walk seems a bit over-the-top. I guess I'm not one to speak, though." Atolla remarked after a moment, an eye-ridge raised in an unspoken question. Why was he armed? If he was, for some reason, enlisted by the SeaWings to kill it, why hadn't he done that? It knew it was being paranoid, though here paranoia tended to pay off in not getting killed. [235 words]

GoldenwolfmidnaHe kept smiling, not commenting on how she seemed to be getting annoyed- that was fine. He always liked getting a rise out of dragons, especially when he wasn't doing anything specifically <i>bad</i>. Nobody had gotten murdered- yet. Maybe somebody would get murdered later, maybe somebody wouldn't get stabbed at all, but for the time being no crime was being committed. Of course...they were pretty out in the open...and nobody would notice if he attacked them... Their voice took him back out of his thoughts of murder and blood. "And I would rather prefer a SeaWing see me than a NightWing- although this far from the kingdom, they can't really <i>chase me out.</i>" he said with a small wink of his eyes. "They're not fond of a lot of dragons." The last dragon he had talked to in the Kingdom...who was it? It could have been that citizen... or that dragon that yelled at him, and subsequently got themselves slain by his tipped claws. Maybe he didn't kill the dragonet, but there was still more than enough to get him in trouble for. "Same for you." he said, motioning to the knife they held. "Either way, there's no reason in not being careful. There's always dragons around trying to kill a person." They didn't know about his forming gang, but they did know his crimes- and sure, sometimes a dragon showed up with a knife in claws trying to take him down. That was when he wished to have an enchantment in order to make the whole thing faster.
