The character's appearance;

Brazen's colours are not too special, gray-ish purple, which is lighter on his undersides and darker on his back. He does have silver scales on his spine and the dorsal side of his wings. His eyes are a light blue and almost always tired.

What most people notice about him however, is his size. While his body and tail are a normal length for a dragonet his age, his legs and wings are about half the size of what they should be. His wings look very thin as well, because he can't fly and hasn't developed much muscle there.

Abilities: Fire Breath, Future Sight, Can use his wings as hands.



Personality:

Brazen is not polite. At all. He's rude and sarcastic and doesn't care who he's talking to, he'd even insult the queen. Brazen doesn't really care about his life, he feels like he never even really had one, so he has nothing to lose. It does make it very difficult for him to make friends, but he doesn't care. He's not lonely at all! Even if he did have friends he'd feel like he's just slowing them down.

He does have a fear of heights, since he can't fly, and hates being touched.





History:

Brazen was Dustshard and Allure's second dragonet, his sister being a year older than him. As soon as he hatched it was clear that something wasn't entirely right. At first his parents weren't sure what to do, but then decided that he wouldn't be able to live a normal life, since he wouldn't be able to fly or hunt, and it'd be better to just end it thrn before he suffers. But they weren't brave enough to just kill their own dragonet, and instead left him out in the desert, hoping a predator would find him.

They did, of course, along with a hybrid who called themself Fox. When they saw the dragonet, all they thought about was money. Nightwings were rare, and they'd never seen anyone like that, so they took him with them, keeping them safe until they reached the Sandwing castle, which was still under control of Sawtooth. She happily bought the dragonet and put him in her weirdling tower. He was worth more alive than dead, of course, but wasn't treated too well. The only time he ever saw any other dragons was every few days when they fed him, or when the Princess was showing off her collection. He did learn a few words from them, but never really got to speak much. He tried talking to the guards, even the Princess, but they mostly ignored him, and the only other person in there was very loud and confusing to talk to, he never understood what they were trying to say.

When he was two they just kind of... stopped coming. Sawtooth died, and everyone forgot that she had living dragons in there.

More than a week later someone found them, dehydrated but still alive. They weren't sure what to do- Queen Saguaro had enough problems to deal with, so they didn't say anything. The guards assumed she wanted to keep it, the tower was never really brought up again, but they still kept feeding him.

Eventually after five more years another dragon showed up. Brazen had no idea what was going on- he thought they were just another visitor or something he was being shown off to, but then they actually unchained him, before picking him up and literally carrying him off to a mountain. He heard something about learning and other dragons being there soon, but since he got there he's only been having nightmares about war and death.
