Abyss
Aby (friends), Abyssal (on paper)’

Abyss is smaller than average. For a short period she can change her scales, but she slowly reverts back to her normal colors if she isn’t paying sharp attention.

Abyss is an interesting dragon. Overall, she is wholly dedicated to her beliefs and ideals, and the dragons she loves. While they can change, it takes years and lifetimes for her to finally come around. She does not simply go with the crowd, instead preferring to form her own thoughts and opinions, and she values this highly as a form of self-expression. Outwardly Abyss is quite stoic, though, being a good actor, it’s often a very-well collected mask. She finds duplication of other dragon’ a traits to be easy, picking up on their mannerisms and ways of speaking. She finds her job impersonal and she gets down to business quickly when there are things to do. She’s a natural leader, and looks out for the rest of Second Rank (and doesn’t want them to die, of course).
History:
Abyss was born to a very nice pair of Chrysalis members. They included their dragonets in their illegal activities since they hatched, and so Abyss (and her siblings) were first introduced to revolutionary thought at a young age. When their parents were found out and consequently disappeared when she was ten, Abyss knew what had happened. She was distraught, committing a quick series of murders in retaliation by disguising herself as the HiveWing’s servants. And then..:she got a bit sloppy, ended up immobilized. That was when a mafia recruiter snuck up behind her, promising her freedom if she killed for them instead. Abyss accepted.
One of the earliest SilkWing members, she actually impressed HiveWings with her efficiency. Needlessly brutal towards HiveWings; preferred poisoning SilkWings, she was blinded by rage.
But once that rage subsided, she had to think. Did killing HiveWings make up for her parent’s deaths? Any of the SilkWing’s? Eventually she realized it did not. She continued killing, but.:.only for the money.
Abyss realized that if she had the power that Sirex did, than she could actually do things for the SilkWings. Abyss could improve living conditions, let them think for themselves.
Only if she had Sirex’s power, though.
Abyss makes it clear to all of the first ranks that she would kill them if provoked. She has threatened Sirex already, but now she waits until her power wanes for just a second...then she’ll strike.
