TW FOR A LOT OF GORE/VIOLENCE AND DEATH
A buzz of dual wings and a strained yelp soon cut out pierced the silent night. A large figure cowered beneath a harsh light, luminated eerily before a speckled figure. "Alright, Flea. Hand over your shit before you can say hello to the friendly little bat I have here. Hand over your money you owe me and you get out of this alive." Lightning Bug snarled, hefting the heavy, dense bat over her shoulder and thrusting her head forward into the greenish dragons head. Flea whimpered; looking up and tucking his wings closer. "I swear! What are you talking about!" he rambled aimlessly.
Vibrant red eyes flashed as she swung down the bat, cruelly may I add, as Flea broke eye contact. A pleasing sensation ran over her body as the bright body under her fell limp, legs crumpling under it as she inspected the damage. Lightning Bug grabbed its neck, narrowing her eyes. The skull of the dragon seemed to have cracked completely, bits of pinkish flesh sticking out of it. Lightning Bug didn't wasn't scared of gore, to be perfectly accurate, but she didn't want any of it stuck between her talons as she got back to her casual, not-killing-people day job.
"Yuck, this is.." she wrinkled her dark snout. "Repulsive." she hissed, wrenching open a window and setting down the now-bloodied bat on a rounded tree-stuff table. The once-intricate designs of the bat had worn down, now smooth and stained with various, not-good substances. She slashed the face of the now-deceased Flea; leaving a dark, bloody gash across the vibrant scales of the HiveWing carcass and crushing an eyeball in her talon. It was satisfying, like bursting peeled grapes. After a few minutes, the corpse was in a shiny black trash bag. It was stained red on the inside, but she picked it up roughly and swooped out the window. "So much trouble for a bitch." Lightning Bug breathed.
Sand shifted underneath her talons as she landed on the shore of Dragonfly Bay. The smooth, white sand and gray pebbles clinked merrily in contrast to the grim action that was being commited. She looked around, dropped the bag that was now collecting flies, and went to dig. Lightning Bug soon had a shallow chasm in the ground, enough to bury the larger object. As soon as she had covered the body of Flea, she yawned. "Exhausting work to kill people." she grumbled, lifting off into the sky once more and retreating to the sparkling citadel of Jewel Hive. She nodded to the tired guards, the stained blood on her claws unnoticeable in the smothering light.
The smooth surface of the floors of her own home had been interrupted by periodical gashes in the tree-stuff flooring. A pointed tail lashed against the deep floor of the small area, ears flicking as if she were being swarmed by the flies that had surrounded her last body. Smooth, tan scales ran down her back and fading to a rich, deep black freckling pattern along her spine. A dark face whipped around and bust open the door to a spooked looking SilkWing. Her eyes methodically examined the dragon. It was a pale colour, splattered with blue-grays and navy tones. "...What."
