Steppe is a rather reckless dude- when he gets an idea, he does it, no stop. He acts as if he's always hyped up on energy drinks, or if he's always excited- he often will barge into a room screaming new song lyrics he thought of a moment ago. He loves what he does, and will not hesitate to tell people about BANDNAME or sign autographs. Often he does things without much of a plan, and constantly gets himself into trouble. He's often warned about this. Steppe is a charismatic extrovert who can probably talk a lion to death- but don't mention that, as he will try. He's a cool guy, always liking to talk about stuff to anybody that will listen.
Steppe is also a bit self conscious and really values his bandmates as a way to keep himself sane. He does need somebody to stop him from doing something without thinking, after all! He always feels as if he's so, so close to being a failed musician, and he sometimes has bad thoughts about messing something up.
History:
Steppe is born in the Sky Kingdom, and lived a fairly normal life- sometimes dragons asked him to become a soldier for the tribe, but all he wanted to do was become a musician and make a name for himself. Testing out multiple instruments he eventually found an old guitar teacher in a smaller town, learning with them for years until the older dragon finally passed. Now with a knowledge in music and not much else, he started to make plans for how to make it big- even paying a fair bit of money to an animus dragon its silpha to get himself a new guitar with a sound unheard of in the continents. Broke, but with a fancy guitar, he created a band with the placeholder name BANDNAME, something he eventually fell in love with.
When asking for dragons to join the band he met Ultraviolet, a solo singer who he rapidly formed a connection with- with the two of them and a few scavengers on piano, they started their traveling band. It rapidly hit off and became a success, with their music becoming fairly popular in all the tribes- and a few royals even asked for a show.
Eventually Ultraviolet wanted to strike it out alone, and Steppe allowed them to. Some time after that, Steppe ended up dying.
Eventually he was brought back by Bowfin, taking his old body and bringing it back to life so he could continue playing- he only has a faint realization that this happened and is just trying to pretend nothing happened. lifetime achievement award
