History:
Carrion doesn't remember much of his parents- apparently they died when he was very young. No one really knows why, but people would often whisper about Leafwings somehow being involved.

History:
Carrion doesn't remember much of his parents- apparently they died when he was very young. No one really knows why, but people would often whisper about Leafwings somehow being involved.
He was raised with foster parents instead, who had a higher status in the Hive than Carrion's family ever did. They did not appreciate the dragonet, but since the Lady sent him, they couldn't really say no either. Carrion never considered them family, they were just dragons that took care of him. As soon as he was old enough to live on his own he moved out to Vinegaroon Hive, and never had any contact with them again.
He didn't really care about the Silkwing rebellions when they first started, Carrion mostly just stayed out of their way. But when things started becoming more organised, with a real leader, it caught his interest. Carrion joined Sirex's gang fairly early, back when Vinegaroon was still Lady, but never moved up to the ranks, even though he could probably get a spot without too much work. He just prefers the lack of responsibility the unranked members have.
