He is really nice, although he has a hard time trusting Seawings, as he thinks they'll be mean to him. He thinks he's just a weird-looking Seawing, and is unaware that he's a hybrid
History:
His father made a raft out of silk and wood (mostly silk as wood is very scarce) to escape from the hives. He met Mantis's mother when he arrived on the continent, and she helped hide him. He was discovered and killed for Burn's collection, before Mantis's egg was laid. His mother was killed by Skywings shortly after she laid his egg. Mantis was raised in a small Seawing town where everyone made fun of him and shunned him for looking weird
