Yesterday can read minds, Tomorrow can see the future! Both of their powers are unusually strong, which results in them being overwhelmed almost all the time. Yesterday has a hard time discerning his own thoughts from others thoughts, and hears Tomorrow's visions/thoughts very loudly. Yesterday will often be seen talking to himself, responding to something tomorrow only thought. Tomorrow cannot speak as he doesn't have vocal chords, he's just a head!
History:
His mother, Dispatch, was an assassin who hadn't realized she was with egg, so she was in the sanding kingdom when she laid it! She met a sandwing named Grain who helped her care for the egg, and they eventually became mates. When Yesterday and Tomorrow were old enough to travel, she returned to the rightwing kingdom with Grain, where they were met with suspicion and hostility. Yesterday and Tomorrow were unused to being around so many dragons, and so their abilities made interacting with other nightwings nigh impossible, which is why Dispatch and Grain decided to send them to school to help them get to interact with other dragons their age, who aren't as openly hostile as many of the nightwings.
