Heresy only really cares about itself. To it, other dragons are just there to be used and manipulated, or messed with for its amusement.

It enjoys watching people suffer, especially when it digs up someone's darkest secret, then shares it with the rest of the Hive. When confronted, Heresy will pretend to be innocent, or shift blame onto the person it hurt, saying the secret would've come out eventually anyways, or that it didn't even do anything.

Heresy is known to flirt often with many different dragons, but anyone who know it will try to warn others that it doesn't care about relationships, it's just a fun challenge for Heresy to see how much it can find out without using it's powers.

While it's technically royalty, Heresy doesn't see itself as that, and many dragons don't either. It's used to just being seen as "Lady Mantis' strange pet", but Heresy doesn't mind. It knows that people who see it like that are less careful around it.

Lady Mantis never treated it as her child either, so its unlikely it would have any power when she dies.

History:

- Father is an Ice/Night hybrid, hears about Pantala from his half brother, Glowworm, and decides to look for it because he feels like he doesn't fit anywhere on Pyrrhia

- Somehow reaches Pantala, realises pretty quickly he stands out a lot in the Hives and stays mostly hidden

- He meets a Hivewing, and they fall in love and have an egg

- When Heresy is only a few months old, both its parents died. It doesn't remember what happened to them, but it was found by Lady Mantis, who just went "oh what is this weird creature? mine now ig"

- Mantis names it Aha ha, mostly as a joke. Heresy chose it's name for itself later.

- Heresy discovered it's powers when it was still pretty young. At first Heresy couldn't control it, and it'd end up immediately saying whatever they learned, but over time it began to figure out how to use its ability.

- It's kept its power secret, but used the secrets it learned to get people to do what it wanted. Many times it'd expose their secrets anyways, just to see them suffer
