Appearance: {Gray scales with lighter streaks running through them and bright blue light-up scales}



The character's appearance:

Stargazer has charcoal gray scales with streaks of lighter gray running through them. Their underbelly is a dark shade of blue, as well as their horns, claws, and spines. They have bright blue light-up scales, and their gills are laced with silver. Their wings are dark purple, fading into light purple at the edges, and have purplish-silver scales scattered on the underside, with some concentrated in a band on the edge. Stargazer is mostly built like a SeaWing, though their wings and tail are like that of a NightWing, and they lack the back and chest fins. (They do have webbed talons, I just decided on that after I finished the ref) 



Abilities: Night vision, water breathing, knows enough Aquatic to get by, weak fire breath (as in, it wouldn't be useful as weapon except for distractions, but it is useful as a tool for lighting torches/campfires, that kind of thing)

Detailed personality here: 

Stargazer usually doesn't know what to say to other dragons, and is very awkward because of it. They tend towards silently helping and listening over doing any actual talking. Usually, this isn't much of a problem, considering they live on a random, middle-of-nowhere island in the Bay of a Thousand Scales, but they do go onto the mainland to get things that they can't make themself occasionally, and it's a bit of a problem then.

Stargazer is also rather introspective, and given they have a lot of time to think, they have very strong opinions on many, many things. It's very hard to change those opinions, too; not because they believe they're always right, but because they don't like admitting others have changed their mind, even if it's on something minor. 

They're also observant; they mostly hunt fish, and finding fish in the ocean is surprisingly difficult- leading Stargazer to be very good at noticing small things. This extends not only to what dragons are physically doing, but also how they're acting; in fact, Stargazer's ability to realize when someone's behavior is off is odd, considering they're usually awful with other dragons.

History:

Stargazer's parents raised them on a small, isolated island in the Bay of a Thousand Scales, where they still live today. When Stargazer was 8, however, their parents disappeared after going to get things at a small town on the coast. Stargazer was devastated, and their plans to go and explore Pyrrhia halted. They continue to live in the same place, as they're much more unsure of whether they'd be safe on Pyrrhia, but they are seriously starting to consider moving there more now, because of how lonely it is where they live.
