Oh wow they... both really cared about this. Minke frowned a bit, "But um... If someone ended up in a situation like me then they wouldn't remember all those classes? I mean uh-" Shit- They hoped Agate wouldn't realize that they didn't remember anything either. Nah... He probably wouldn't just from that. "Nevermind- the tribe culture thing sounds interesting though." It very much did not. Or well, a bit, but Minke didn't want to end up in one of those classes and have someone ask them to say something about whatever they were. Yeah no going to that school did not seem like the best idea. What if there was someone Minke didn't remember that did know them. Or... whoever did this to them also joined the school?
"So... How far is the place we're going?" Uh... Possibility right..?

Cavern beamed at Minke. "I am glad that you think my class sounds interesting! As for your previous question, I am unsure as to what situation you speak of, however, students shall be provided with many opportunities to review what they have learned, and if one were unable to recall previous lessons, the teachers or your fellow students would all be glad to remind you, if need be," Cavern paused for a moment, imagining what such a place would be like. --- "Not far," Agate said after a slight pause. He glanced at Cavern, who looked as though he had not heard the dragonet's question. "Possibility is just on the border of the sky kingdom and the desert! But not just skywings and sandwings live there," he added hastily. "Possibility welcomes dragons of all tribes, so you won't feel out of place!" Agate hoped Minke wouldn't feel out of place, though he guessed that Possibility's proximity to the desert would make the town uncomfortable for an Icewing, no matter how welcoming its occupants. word count: 172 Ombekende

"Ah right, of course..." Minke didn't really feel like telling anyone that they did not remember anything at all. At least... not yet. Agate and Cavern didn't seem dangerous, so they could probably trust them, but Minke was still nervous they might attack them or something. Why though..? What happened to me?They shook their head, taking a deep, then realized Agate was talking again. Well I guess that means I'm not a Skywing or Sandwing... Whatever they are. It'd probably be weird to ask, right? If a lot of them lived near here then people would probably expect Minke to know at least a bit about them. "Would it be safe for me though..? Since uh, I think I heard the Skywings around here might not be friendly?"Minke honestly wasn't sure if they even remembered that correctly. They hoped it was safe, their entire body still hurt and even just flying straight was already becoming difficult.

Agate laughed good-naturedly. "Skywings are rarely friendly, especially to those they find wandering around near their palace," he said. He knew that "all Skywings are short-tempered" was a stereotype, and likely untrue, but none of the skywings he had ever met had deviated from this assumption. "But don't worry! Possibility is a safe place for any dragon," Theoretically, now that the war was over, a dragon from any tribe should be safe on a visit to another kingdom, but even five years later, some dragons had trouble giving up their prejudices. Possibility was, mostly, free from this distrust of other tribes. Cavern dreamed that one day, the tribes could all live happily together without conflict. Though he wanted to trust his friend's vision, Agate still sometimes wondered if having the tribes work together, so soon after a war, was a good idea. Prhaps, he thought, some actions were too terrible to be forgiven. Some wounds still too fresh to be healed, the pain still too sharp to ignore. He thought of his sister, Gila. He thought of the dragon she had once been, the dragon that he knew had died long ago, in the frozen wasteland the icewings called home. He still wished he could bring her back, but she had lost something in the time she was imprisoned, her missing back legs a constant reminder of her pain. --- Cavern cleared his throat awkwardly, noticing the sad, faraway look in his friend's eyes. He wondered if the sandwing was thinking about Gila again. He glanced back at Minke. He hoped the dragonet would be alright after they got them to a doctor in Possibility. Cavern coughed again, unsure how to break the silence. He frowned at the land below them, his eyes suddenly brightening. ”There!” he called out, pointing to a cluster of buildings on both sides of a river. Agate blinked, his expression clearing. ”That’s Possibility!” the Sandwing affirmed, tilting his unusually patterned wings to dip closer. Cavern did the same, hoping that Minke would follow. ”We shall accompany you into the city as far as you require, to ensure that you receive the necessary treatments from a physician here,” Cavern informed Minke. 365 words Ombekende

"Are we close to their palace then?" Minke asked, taking a deep breath. Knowing who injured wouldn't help them much anymore- what happened to them couldn't be undone. But maybe they had some kind of reason to attack Minke, and it'd be better to avoid them as much as they could. "Even if it's safe in Possibility, um. I'd like to know if I have to be worried about leaving. Not that... someone might wait for me outside of it or something." They noticed the other's short silence. Was something wrong..? Did they say a weird thing or..? They frowned, watching the land below them as they tried to figure out what to say. Minke didn't even notice they were near Possibility until they suddenly heard Cavern call out, startling them and almost making them fall. "Wh- oh, right!" They shook their head, flapping their wings to catch up to the others again. "Uhh good... Thanks. So that means we can land soon, yes?" (165)
